“ Enjoyed a late Saturday evening meal at the Daily News Restaurant. I almost always order the lamb, which is my all-time favorite, hands down. However, I ordered duck this particular night. The duck was perfect.... honestly, it was outstanding with a perfect crust on the edge & a little bite of heat in the sweet sauce. The duck was accompanied by fresh green beans with just the right snap and some delicious mashed potatoes. I also love their house salad, and the fresh, homemade bread served with the premium olive oil and balsamic vinegar is scrumptious. I was so full, so I ended up getting my strawberry shortcake to go. It was yummy! I love the staff and owners; they are all kind, attentive, and personal, making my visit feel comfortable and welcoming. Bottom line: I love this place! Great for romantic moments or a place to go before an event. ”
